very belated friday round-up (oct 18th)
Oct. 18th, 2024 12:09 pmbeen awhile. i've been kind of out of my own head recently so it's been hard to write stuff down. um. so hi.
nothin truly interesting has been going on. work, i finally finished up driving lessons. ive been really into a new game called voices of the void, it's a very.. i guess cozy horror game ive been enjoying. i watched vinesauce joel play it then charborg and it got me hooked, i really really like it and have been drawing for it for a bit. it's heavily based in cosmic/alien horror which is something i havent really touched on with horror games, i like it. very fun
otherwise, i finally am trying out infinity nikki, as i got invited to the closed beta. its like if genshin impact was actually good (i say this with experience. we don't talk about my genshin era) and it was more about fashion than anything. ive played the older nikki games since i was in high school, so i know the drill. it's more fun im realizing in a little world where i can run around and collect little tchotchkes.
actually it's also why i really love voices of the void as well. i like how open ended they both are. like i can decorate my base and shove stupid image files/videos in my game files and decorate my house and watch stupid shit on a tv.
............. it's also why im very obsessed with modded minecraft Do you see a pattern here. i like sandboxes. theyre fun. it's the "grew up playing GMOD" inside of me, you understand.
been spending a lot of time with my gf though. i love her very much. did you know this? ive been trying to get her into final fantasy 14, my other other favorite game of all time. my evil dark clutches.
but um. yeah. hopefully this will be more consistently updated. i have very bad memory though so. lets hope.
